Who we are
We're a small team based in Tampa, Florida, and we make Profizzer. There's no giant office and no long chain of approvals. When you write to us, the person who reads your message is someone who works on the product.
Why Profizzer exists
There's a lot going on online, and most of it asks for your attention all at once. A banner here, a pop-up there, and the interesting part somewhere under ten menus. A few of us kept wishing for one calm place to see what's new, without feeling chased.
Profizzer is our answer to that. It brings together the interesting things people are trying right now and keeps them simple to look through. You decide what's worth your time, and nothing is asked of you beyond that.
What we're going for
We want a visit to feel short, easy and a bit pleasant. That means a clean layout, plain words on the buttons, and pages that load quickly on a phone. It also means not cramming everything onto one screen just because we can.
We add new things regularly and keep what we show reasonably current, so a return visit gives you something fresh to look at.
Things we try to stick to
Calm
No flashing, no countdowns, no shouting. You should be able to take your time.
Plain words
No jargon on buttons and no clever labels. Things should say what they do.
Your details
We ask for what we need to run your account. We don't sell personal information.
Steady
A site that's down when you want it is no use, so we watch speed and uptime closely.
Fair play
No pressure tactics. If something isn't ready yet, we'd rather say so than fake it.
Listening
A lot of what we change comes from emails people send us. We read every one.
How we work
We work in short cycles. We change one thing, see how people respond, and adjust from there. It means we can fix problems quickly, and it keeps us from building things nobody asked for.
Feedback shapes what we do next more than any plan we wrote months ago. If something is confusing or missing, we'd genuinely like to hear about it.
What we'd rather not be
- A site that pings you all day to come back.
- A place that piles on clutter just to look busy.
- Something that makes big promises and hopes you won't check.
