1. What this policy covers
This Cookies Policy explains how Profizzer ("Profizzer," "we," "us" or "our") uses cookies and similar technologies on our website and related pages (the "Service"), and what choices you have. It works alongside our Privacy Policy, which describes how we handle personal information more generally.
2. Cookies in plain terms
A cookie is a small text file that a website saves on your phone or computer when you visit. The next time you return, the site can read it back. That's how a site remembers that you're signed in or which setting you picked. Related tools, such as pixels and local storage, do similar things, and we treat them the same way in this policy.
3. Why we use them
- To keep you signed in while you move from page to page.
- To remember small choices, such as your display preferences.
- To see which pages are used and where people get stuck, so we can fix things.
- To understand which channels bring people to Profizzer.
- To help protect the site and your account from misuse.
4. The kinds we use

5. Cookies from other companies
Some cookies come from companies other than us, such as analytics and advertising services that we work with. These companies may recognize your browser across different sites. We don't control their cookies, and each company's own policy explains what it does with the information. When you open a Partner's offer, you also leave Profizzer, and that Partner's own cookie rules apply.
6. Pixels and similar tools
Besides cookies, we may load small pieces of code called pixels. A pixel tells an advertising or measurement service that a page was opened, or that a certain step, such as creating an account, was completed. It can be used together with information like your browser type and IP address. Blocking cookies in your browser will often stop pixels from linking activity to you, and the controls in the next section can help.
7. How long they last
Session cookies disappear when you close your browser. Persistent cookies stay on your device for a fixed period, or until you delete them, and they're what lets the site recognize you when you return. Our sign-in cookie can stay for a number of weeks so you don't have to log in every time.
8. Taking control
Every major browser lets you see, block and delete cookies. The exact menu names change now and then, but these are the usual places to look:
- Chrome: Settings, then Privacy and security, then Third-party cookies or Cookies and other site data.
- Safari: Settings, then Privacy, then Manage Website Data.
- Firefox: Settings, then Privacy and Security, then Cookies and Site Data.
- Edge: Settings, then Cookies and site permissions, then Manage and delete cookies.
If you block essential cookies, parts of Profizzer won't work, and you may not be able to stay signed in. Advertising services often offer their own opt-out pages too, and your phone's settings may let you limit ad tracking across apps.
9. Browser privacy signals
Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" or similar signal. There's no agreed standard for how a site should answer it, so we don't respond to it in a uniform way at the moment. You can still use the browser controls described above.
10. Changes to this policy
If we change the cookies or tools we use, or the rules change, we'll update this page and the date at the top.
