1. Who this covers

This Privacy Policy describes how Profizzer ("Profizzer," "we," "us" or "our") collects, uses, shares and protects personal information when you visit our website or use the services we run (the "Service"). It applies to people who simply browse and to people who create an account. If you disagree with anything here, please stop using the Service. You can also write to us and we'll explain anything that isn't clear.

2. What we collect

The information we hold comes from three places: you, your device, and other companies we work with.

We try to collect only what we need. We don't ask for sensitive details such as health information, and please don't send us any.

3. What we use it for

We use personal information to:

• set up your account, sign you in, and keep your account up to date;
• show you pages and content that suit your country and device;
• match confirmations from Partners to your account so your activity is recorded correctly;
• reply to messages and handle support requests;
• send service emails, such as a welcome message or an account notice;
• see how the Service is used, find faults and make it faster and easier to use;
• measure which channels bring people to Profizzer;
• spot and stop fraud, automated activity and other misuse;
• meet our legal duties and enforce our Terms.

4. Our legal grounds (EEA and UK)

If you're in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, the law requires us to rely on a lawful ground for using your data. We rely on: performing our agreement with you, such as running your account; our legitimate interests, such as keeping the Service secure and improving it; your consent, for example for certain cookies or marketing messages, which you can withdraw at any time; and legal obligations that apply to us.

5. Cookies and similar tools

6. Who we share it with

We don't sell your personal information. We do share it in these situations:

• Service providers that host our systems, deliver email, protect the site from attacks, and help with analytics. They may use the information only to provide those services to us.
• Advertising and measurement services, in a limited way and, where the law asks for consent, only with it, so we can understand how people find the Service.
• Authorities and advisers, when we believe in good faith that we must do so to follow the law, answer a legal request, protect our rights, or keep people safe.
• A future owner, if Profizzer is ever merged with or sold to another business, with the same or similar protections for your information.

7. Partners you choose to open

When you open an offer from a Partner, you leave Profizzer. We typically pass along a technical reference so the Partner can tell us later what happened. The Partner then collects its own information under its own privacy policy, and we aren't responsible for how it does that. Please read a Partner's policy before you share details with it.

8. Emails we send

We send messages that are part of the Service, such as a welcome note after you sign up and notices about your account. We use an email delivery provider to send them. You can write to us at any time to ask us to stop non-essential messages, though we may still need to contact you about your account.

9. How we protect it

We use technical and organizational safeguards, including encryption of data in transit, scrambled password storage and limits on who inside the business can reach personal information. No system is perfectly secure, so we can't guarantee the safety of information you send to us or that we store. If you think your account is at risk, please let us know right away.

10. How long we keep it

We keep personal information while your account is open and for as long afterward as we need it to meet legal duties, settle disputes, prevent fraud and enforce our agreements. When we no longer need it, we delete it or remove anything that identifies you.

11. Your rights and choices

Depending on where you live, you may be able to:

• ask what personal information we hold about you and get a copy;
• have mistakes corrected;
• ask us to delete your information, with some exceptions;
• object to, or ask us to limit, certain uses;

12. California residents

California law gives residents the right to know what personal information a business has collected about them, to ask for it to be deleted, to correct it, and to opt out of the sale or sharing of it. We don't sell personal information. You won't be treated differently for using these rights. You can make a request through the contact details below, and an authorized agent may make one for you with your written permission.

13. Data moving across borders

We're based in the United States, and our providers may process information there or in other countries whose data laws differ from yours. Where the law requires it, we put suitable safeguards in place when information crosses a border.

14. Children

Profizzer is for adults. We don't direct the Service at anyone under 18, and we don't knowingly collect information from them. If you think a child has given us personal information, contact us and we'll delete it.

15. Other websites

The Service links to sites and services we don't run. This policy doesn't cover them, so please check their policies when you visit.

16. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as our practices or the law change. The "Last updated" date at the top will show when, and for significant changes we'll take reasonable steps to tell you.
